Visit Grade 11 to Planetarium
As part of their studies in Astrophysics,
the IB Physics students of Grade 11 had
the opportunity to visit the new solar pla-
netarium, where they were able to enjoy
simulations and videos about the univer-
se.
In the 3D room, they learned about the
Solar System and paid a virtual visit to
every known planet and asteroid. In the
Dome room, they saw the constellations
in the summer sky and understood how
the stars are located in the universe and
in the firmament. They also found out
how these constellations were named
and grasped the purpose of dividing the
night sky in different regions.
