SENIOR SCHOOL
“Pantanos de Villa Visit” Grade 9
In this visit to “Pantanos de Villa”, our Gra-
de 9 students had the opportunity to pay
attention to simple phenomena in a wet-
land ecosystem such as plant adaptations
to muddy soils, leaves adaptations to wet
conditions, the large diversity of spiders
in reduced areas and the role of scaven-
gers such as the black-headed vulture in
maintaining the ecological equilibrium of
this ecosystem.
Our students finally discussed the role of
this conservation unit in education and
understood how lucky we are to have this
place so close to our school.
