Form V Debate
On Tuesday April 1st, twenty students from St George’s College
went to San Silvestre School for the FormV Debate, an activity or-
ganized by the British Schools of Peru. Two of our students, Victo-
ria Borra and Alexandra Granda, proudly represented our school
with their excellent participation in the debate. In this activity,
schools do not compete against each other; each student from
the school is on an opposite team. The topic debatedwas“Nations
with questionable Human Rights records should be allowed to
host sporting events”, and all the students participating showed a
great level of critical thinking and a variety of ideas. The audience
greatly enjoyed the experience, which was enriching as a prepa-
ration for the IB, as well as entertaining.
