DEAR GIRAFFES,
In 2013, I had the pleasure of being the homeroom teacher of Grade 5 Giraffes.
I taught a group of 29 students , who over the time were like my children. We learnt that we are
different, but our differences can show us that respect, friendship and integrity can go hand in hand.
It was not easy, but we recognized that being strong is a quality that only winners have.
Have confidence with your teachers and yourselves. Remember: “The stars shine in the distance
and you will not be the exception!”
