On Tuesday July 3rd, we went on our second
study visit. First we went to Pantanos de Villa
in Chorrillos.
The students were able to see the wetlands
and some of the species of birds that live in this
habitat.
They also watched a lovely video explaining
the importance of this wonderful wetland.
Afterwards, we got back on the bus to continue
with our study visit.
Now it was time to visit the archaeological ruins
in Pachacamac. Here the children had a lot of
fun.
First we went to the museum and then we
walked to see all the archeological sites like the
Temple of the Sun.
We not only learnt about our culture but also
about the legends that surrounded these
wonderful ruins.
