Last Thursday, April 19th, students from
grade 1 had a very interesting study visit to
“Granja Educativa Fauna ‘n Fun”. They had the
opportunity to interact with some animals such
as a donkey called “Sabanero”, horses, goats,
guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.
Kids enjoyed feeding them, feeling their fur,
and hearing their sounds. Moreover, they learnt
about caring, needs of these animals, and also
the uses of some medicine plants.
The most exciting part of this visit was to take
part in an amusement exhibition of exotic
animals; we could see some brave students
holding in their hands a tarantula, and a snake.
Finally, they showed their artistic skills
decorating a flower pot, inwhich they planted a
medicine plant that they took home.
There is no doubt that this was a very exciting
and nice experience.
