As we all know every second Sunday of May
we celebrate Mother’s Day and this year could
not be any different at St. George’s School. Our
teachers wanted the children to do something
magical and different as our theme so they
decided on Disney’s princesses and every grade
in Early Years presented a musical number
based on a princess´ character.
We had charming and delightful musical
numbers. We had Snow White, Ariel from
Under the Sea, Fiona from Sherk, Pocahontas,
Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, Tinker
bell from Peter Pan, Lilo from Lilo and Stitch,
and many others up on stage. Children showed
their unconditional and devoted love to their
mothers on this special day.
To conclude with the ceremony, children gave
to their mothers in their classrooms their
handmade cards and astonishing gifts. It was a
splendid and impressive performance by early
years’ students.
They put on all their effort and enthusiasm to
their rehearsals as it demonstrated that with a
lot of perseverance and love we can accomplish
everything we set our mind to.
