Field Trip: Mundo Granja
Penguins, Seals and Sea lions classrooms
enjoyed their field trip to Mundo Gran-
ja last Wednesday. Tutors, teachers and
workers of the school joined in this fun
trip to experience along the students a
wonderful time with the nature.
As soon as we arrived, students got in
groups in order to start our itinerary. Our
group started visiting the farm animals.
The pupils could feed them each of them
with the food the tourist guides provided.
For instance, some boys gave the cattle
and cows veggies, some girls gave milk to
the pigs and other group fed the horses
with corns and oat. They all took turns in
order to feed different farm animals and
they had so much fun.
Next, the children went to a small lagoon
to see the ducks, geese and fish. They fed
them too. After going to the lagoon, they
went to see the turkeys and hens. They
collected some eggs and put them in a
basket and picked some worms from a
soil bucket in order to feed the roosters
and hens.
The children had a little break to eat their
lunch. After that, in groups they spent a
time decorating their own plant pots.
They were so creative and they really li-
ked the activity.
Then, the pupils received a little bucket
of a baby lettuce in order to grow them
in a vegetable garden. They also watered
different crops and had a ride around the
vegetable garden in a colorful cart.
Finally, they made their own mini pizzas
and enjoyed a great time in the play-
ground.
