Children’s Day Lower
On August 22nd, we celebrated Children’s
Day here at St George`s College.
We started by learning how different coun-
tries celebrate Children`s Day and compa-
ring it to our own country. We could see
how different each celebration was but at
the same time; we had some things in com-
mon. We also created our own posters to
emphasize the importance of this day. To
finish off this lovely day, our teachers made
a fair for us where we could visit different
stands and get stickers.
There were different stands like face pain-
ting, fishing, funny pictures, ball toss and
many more.
The best thing was that at the end of collec-
ting all our stickers we were able to exchan-
ge them for a prize.
On this day, we did not only have fun but
we learnt a lot, too.
